We can now say with pride: Txots is now in La Jonquera. With this new opening we continue to grow the project and reinforce the brand's expansion, bringing our way of understanding hospitality to a new corner of Catalonia. The opening, on 27 November, was a collective celebration, lived intensely, which began with a very symbolic and distinctly ours gesture.
“Let's open the cask” was the central concept of the opening. A meaningful event that directly connects to the origin of the name Txots, inspired by the traditional Basque txotx; the cry that announces the cider is flowing and it's time to share. So, instead of the traditional ribbon-cutting, at Txots we shouted loudly and opened the cask. With this gesture, we launched the new Txots in La Jonquera, and attendees queued to fill their glasses directly from the cask and thus enjoy our signature cider.
An opening full of experiences
From the very first moment, the music set the pulse of the opening. DJ Cosmik was in charge of providing the soundtrack for the night with a dynamic, varied set designed to make the space vibrate. The combination of music, people and atmosphere turned the new Txots de La Jonquera into a vibrant, festive and energetic meeting point, where the desire to celebrate was palpable in every corner.
During the evening, attendees also enjoyed live caricatures, a creative and entertaining feature that added an artistic and spontaneous touch to the event. The surprise came from Raül Black, whose magic show filled the opening with unexpected moments, laughter and audience engagement. In addition, we created various spaces so guests could take home a piece of the good vibes experienced at the new Txots: the 360° video booth for laughter and dancing, and a personalised photo booth that delighted everyone.
The grand finale: the Cheesecake Moment
When the night was already at its peak, one of the most eagerly awaited moments arrived: the Cheesecake Moment. With special music prepared for the occasion, a spectacular entrance by the waiters and flares lighting up the space, the cheesecake became the undisputed star. Because at Txots, we save the best for last!
Txots La Jonquera: a new stop with a great vibe
With this opening, Txots La Jonquera joins the brand's journey, which now includes 6 restaurants, while maintaining our essence: good food, shared experiences and a unique atmosphere.
La Jonquera is now Txots.
And that, as always, is only just beginning.
